Lopez, who is heading on tour this summer for "It's My Party: The Live Celebration," suggested to her team Emme should come out and perform.
It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's daughter Emme is following in her parents' footsteps.
In a video posted to the singer's YouTube account over the weekend fans were treated to something very special: Emme's incredible singing voice.
The video, titled, "Ain't No Weekend Like A JLo Weekend: My First Time Performing Medicine Live!", showed Lopez prepare for her first live performance of her new single, which took place during the "Today" Summer Concert Series last week.
Around 4 minutes into the clip, Lopez is seen rehearsing for the event. While she was practicing, her 11-year-old popped in to give her mom a visit. Lopez encouraged her daughter to do a cover of an Alicia Keys number, a song JLo alluded Emme had been practicing.
Emme then belted out "I Ain't Got You" by Keys and showcased her amazing pipes as her mother watched on proudly. At one point in the clip, Lopez even joined in with her daughter for a sweet moment.
Lopez, who is heading on tour this summer for "It's My Party: The Live Celebration," suggested to her team Emme should come out and perform. "We should have her come out and do something on tour," Lopez said in the clip. "Want to put a little piece in this show? We'll see, we'll check it out. You don't have to."
While Emme seems to be a little shy about coming on tour, there's definitely some serious talent there.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Lopez, who shares Emme and her twin brother Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, showed off her daughter's pipes back in February in honor of her kids' birthday.
In the video, above, Emme sang a few words from "How I Far I'll Go" from "Moana." And like her Keys rendition, Emme totally killed it!
"Happy birthday my perfect marshmallow coconut princess Momma is so proud of you!!" Lopez captioned the sweet post. "#foreverlove #emmemaribel #11 2/22 12:21 #twoismyluckynumber #twins"
