The exciting news comes after Nick's wife had suffered a miscarriage last year.
Nick Carter has received some exciting news amid the ongoing drama with his brother Aaron -- he is officially a father to a baby girl.
The Backstreet Boys singer and his wife Lauren Kitt welcomed their second child on Wednesday, according to Us Weekly. A rep from EMC Bowery told the publication "Mom and daughter are doing great."

The couple, who are already parents to 3-year-old son Odin, announced Kitt was pregnant with their second child back in April. The news came just eight months after Kitt, a fitness guru, had suffered a miscarriage. At the time, Nick tweeted he was "heartbroken" and had to cancel a show in Lima, Peru.
Thursday's good news of the baby girl's birth came amid the Carter family's ongoing issues with Aaron. The singer has been making headlines of late for revelations of mental health issues and publicly feuding with Nick and his wife.
Earlier this month, Nick and their sister Angel filed a restraining order against Aaron, claiming the singer hears "voices in his head."

View Story"In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family," Nick tweeted.
Aaron denied those claims, with his rep telling TMZ, "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family."
As part of the restraining order, Nick said Aaron told their sister Angel, "I have thoughts of killing babies," and that he has also considered "killing Nick's pregnant wife, Lauren Kitt." The order further claimed that Aaron told Angel, "I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar 2 years ago."
