Kylie Jenner Denies '2AM Date' with Ex Tyga After Travis Scott Split

UPDATE at 7:50am PT on October 3, 2019: Kylie Jenner herself must have seen some of the online chatter about her reported hangout with her ex, claiming there was "no '2am date with Tyga'" in a pair of tweets Thursday morning.

Fans on social media are clearly very invested in Kylie Jenner's personal life after reports of a split with Travis Scott. Don't believe us? Wednesday night saw her ex Tyga jump to the top of Twitter's trending topics based simply on reports the two were seen together.

And this 24 hours after the alleged encounter, which saw Kylie hanging out with girlfriends Stassie Karanikolaou and Kelsey Calemine and allegedly meeting up with Tyga and his friends at a West Hollywood hotel, where Tyga was working in the studio.

Now, according to E! News this wasn't a planned thing, but rather "he was with a few of their mutual friends at Sunset Marquis and invited Kylie and her girlfriends to come hangout, since they were already out."

So that's it, right? Kylie was hanging with some friends. Tyga was hanging with some friends. Tyga saw that Kylie and her friends were out and invited them to hang with his crew. Pretty straightforward and standard stuff and certainly not the jaw-dropping kind of news that should see Tyga trending at number one on Twitter, right?

Well, this is the internet and the internet is still crazy about all things Kardashian and these days, that generally means all things Kylie above all. Plus, any time you hang with an ex after a breakup, honey, people are gonna side-eye and they are gonna talk. And in 2019, they're going to talk in the millions on social media.

Even E! News' insider source tried to make it clear that this "wasn't an intentional jab at Travis, but she did hangout with Tyga for a bit. Nothing romantic is going on."

So are we done talking about it yet? Of course not. Fans are already shipping Kylie and Tyga getting back together, throwing shade at Kylie for meeting up with him ... and speculating that all of this is just part of Kris Jenner's master marketing plan -- just like the initial breakup -- because clearly this means Tyga is going to collaborate with Travis on that new music dropping Friday and Mama Kris is just drumming up publicity for a member of the extended "KUWTK" family.

In other words, clearly Kris Jenner is a genius, this is her world, and we're all living in it ... including Kylie, Travis and now even Tyga. If that crazy conspiracy theory is true, though, then she really is a genius because Tyga certainly wasn't trending like this before casually meeting up with Kylie and her friends.
