Hilarie Burton Spills on Her and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's 'Film Families' Attending Their Wedding (Exclusive)

When Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan tied the knot earlier this month, they did it surrounded by their costars from "One Tree Hill," "Supernatural" and "The Walking Dead."

And, speaking with TooFab about their big day, the actress said they're both "very fortunate" to have made such strong bonds while on set.

Though the two have been together for a decade, share two children and already referred to each other as husband and wife, they said "I do" in a ceremony officiated by "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles, with a poem read by "The Walking Dead" alum Norman Reedus. Also in attendance: Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz and Jared Padalecki.

The "Supernatural" trio even got tattoos after the ceremony to commemorate the special day.

"I've been calling him my husband for years. I just am not a liar anymore. Sorry guys," said Burton when TooFab caught up with her at the junket for her upcoming Lifetime movie, " A Christmas Wish." With a laugh, she added, "My truth is my truth and I'm good with it!"

"It was a really small ... in a perfect world we would have rented out a football stadium and had everybody that we love, because we've been very very fortunate to have film families that mean a lot to us," she said of the guest list.

"That said, the people that were there are important people in our worlds for various different reasons," Burton continued. "It's weird, a casting director decides who your best friends are going to be for the next six years and who is gonna be your love interest and who you're gonna work with and create bonds with. It's so weird when that magic works, to think someone else, I don't know, arranged these relationships, I'm grateful for it. Thanks, I like my friends, they're wonderful!"

The two revealed they got married with a collection of Instagram posts showing them all dressed up on their wedding day.

"This past weekend was the best of my entire life," wrote Burton, sharing a photo from the ceremony of her in her gorgeous dress. "There are dozens of thank yous I need to make. So bear with me over the next week as I gush over the amazing group of people who gave us this beautiful moment. But before we do any of that, Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real."

"We've lived as husband and wife for a decade. We've built a family, and a farm and found our community," she continued. "For years, publications have reported that we got married in 2014 or 2015 and that I've been married and divorced before. All untrue. But WE knew our truth. So it felt silly to try and correct anything."

The two are parents to Augustus, 9, and George, 1, and have been together since 2009.

"Here's the God's honest fact: From the moment I met @jeffreydeanmorgan, he was my husband," Burton, 37, continued. "Rather than make vows right out of the gate, we lived them. For over ten years. The good times and the bad. Standing up there with our children at our sides - celebrating all that has been - was bliss.:

She closed her post by writing, "I love you Jeffrey. I love our intimate group of friends and family who joined us. I love the various circles of loved ones who have supported us over the years. It was private and magical and everything I dreamed. So yeah. I'm Mrs. Morgan."

Morgan, 53, was more succinct on his page as he shared another photo from their wedding day with the caption, "I'd say words... but there aren't any. Mrs Morgan.... I love you. Thank you for making me the luckiest man in the world."

In a followup post, he added, "Ok. A few words... It was an intimate ceremony... performed by @jensenackles and @bigbaldhead with our kids at our sides... and the party of the century afterwards... thank you to all our friends and family. It was, without a doubt... the best day of our lives. Ever ever. Just never knew that it could be so damn perfect. It was. And more. Xxxxjd"
