The singer's look was inspired by Sharon Stone.
It's been a hot minute since Adele has stepped out in public, but she made a fiery return to the limelight this week when she attended Drake's birthday party on Wednesday night.
The singer made her first appearance since filing for divorce from estranged husband Simon Konecki in September. The two announced their split in April and Adele has kept a low profile in the time since, stepping out only for Jennifer Lawrence's wedding earlier this month.
Inside Drake's party, which was held at Goya Studios, Adele posed for photos with another guest ... once again looking flawless with picture-perfect hair and makeup. According to her Instagram account, her inspiration for the night was Sharon Stone's character from "Casino," Ginger McKenna. "I used to cry but now I sweat #gingermckenna," she captioned the photo.
The 31-year-old wore all black to the mobster-themed soiree, where she rocked a velvet off-the-shoulder dress and black strappy shoes.

View StoryAccording to PEOPLE, Adele has been focusing on her fitness since her split, hiring a private trainer and going to Pilates classes.
"For her, it's not about losing weight," a source told the publication. "She wants to stay healthy for her son's sake, and though it's been challenging for her to keep a new workout routine, she is sticking with it."
Adele and Konecki share 7-year-old son Angelo.
Drake also shared a number of photos from the party, including one with Adele. Also in attendance at the bash: Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Kylie Jenner, French Montana and Chris Brown.
"I've spent many nights over the last 4 or 5 years feeling like people did not like me or resented me for things beyond my control," he captioned the set of pictures. "I would sometimes settle into this mindset for months at a time. Today I woke up and looked at my phone and realized how much positive energy and how many unbreakable bonds I have in my life from incredible people. All the messages and posts just reminded me that I am covered in a blanket of love and support and I should never second guess that. Thank you for a truly uplifting day. Love you all forever."
