Selena Gomez wants everyone to know that she's single.
One day after being photographed entering the same hot spot as ex, Samuel Krost, the singer, 27, took to her Instagram Stories to clarify her relationship status.
"I'm not dating anyone," she wrote Wednesday. "I've been single for two years. I'm on God's timing not mine."
Selena Gomez Says She Doesn't Want Next Relationship To Be 'Co-Dependent or Messy'
View StoryGomez's post came after photos emerged of the former couple arriving separately to La Esquina restaurant in New York City.
The actress and fashion executive, 26, were first seen together in 2015 and were romantically linked for a few months in 2016.
Last week, Gomez opened up about what she's learned so far being single and what she's looking for in her next relationship.
"I've been super, super single for two years," Gomez began in an interview with the "Zach Sang Show" Friday. "I want to know what that love will look like next for me."
"I want it to be real," she continued. "I don't want it to be co-dependent or messy or lack of communication. I think when you get older, you find people who are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength if you will."
"I'm chillin' right now, you guys," she added. "Honestly that [dating] is so stressful so I've been having way too much fun being on my own. It sucked for the first year, I was like, 'I just wanna cuddle, I just wanna watch something and be adored.' Now it feels good. Now it feels awesome."
Gomez, who describes herself as a "hopeless romantic," said she's enjoying being single. However, when she does begin searching for love again, she expressed that she will "do so many things differently" than in the past.
"I would be very transparent," she said. "I don't have room to buffer things that I need or that I want. I think girls can sometimes be scared of that, because we're viewed as crazy or needy or overthinking things and dramatic. I understand sometimes, but I love being a girl and I love having the emotions I have and falling super deep and being passionate. It's just about containing it and channeling it in the right areas."
"But I never want to lose the sense of love that I imagine it to be," she continued. "I don't want to be jaded or bitter from anything. I believe that it exists. I'm happy waiting for that for however long it takes because we're going to be doing this forever."
The "Monte Carlo" actress -- who famously dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd -- categorized her first experience with love as "a little toxic."
"You're in a phase of life where you experience love for the first time and I think that can just be a little toxic," Gomez explained. "When you're young... you have this codependency that you think is love, and then you have this addiction to the passion and the frustration with each other and you think, 'Oh that's love.' I believed that for a long time."
