When asked if she'd ever consider joining the cast of "RHONY," given that Leventhal lives in New York, Dodd said, "Yes, I would!"
Kelly Dodd is so in love with her new fiancé, Rick Leventhal, she's willing to sacrifice her spot on "The Real Housewives of Orange County."
That is, if Andy Cohen's willing to find her a position on "The Real Housewives of New York."
While at BravoCon this weekend, Dodd flashed the four-carat, pear-shaped sparkler she received from the Fox News correspondent last week, as "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Margaret Josephs noted it was "blinding!"
When asked if she knew the proposal -- which took place after only three months of dating -- was coming, Kelly said, "Well, not really. Not this fast, but I'm glad he did!" While she claims she didn't know the proposal would happen so soon, the divorced mother of one did have an inkling. After all, she said she "chose" the ring herself.

View StoryAdmittedly running late for another engagement (pun intended), poor Kelly fumbled her way through an explanation of how Rick popped the question and what he said.
"He got on one hand... I said yes! We're actually running really, really late," she said, quickly adding, "So, yes, he got on his hands and knee -- his knee, and isn't this pretty?"
Long before Dodd said "yes" to Leventhal, she posted on Instagram that she had already chosen a wedding date: October 10, 2020. After the engagement, though, she told fans she was joking -- but now seems to be back on the 20-20 train. (No pun intended this time.)
"Our day is 10/10/2020," said the reality star, adding that she'd like to celebrate the big day in Napa Valley, California.

"Actually, I'm really good friends with Dorinda [Medley], Sonja [Morgan]. I'm really good friends with Ramona [Singer]," she explained. "Ramona's the one who hooked me up with Rick! Dorinda said she would officiate it, and then Ramona hooked me up, so she's gotta be in it."
"He's Jewish and I'm Catholic," she added. "I'm not gonna have a rabbi and a priest, so we'll have Dorinda do it."
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
