Oprah Winfrey has been dethroned as the most powerful person in entertainment.
Lady Gaga has claimed the top spot on the Forbes' Celebrity 100 list (see all the rankings here). Celebrities on the annual list are ranked by entertainment-related earnings, visibility (on TV, radio and online), and social media (Facebook, Twitter) following.
With the $90 million she made on her Monster Ball tour, coupled with her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers, Gaga topped the list. Winfrey, who's been the perennial No. 1, drop to No. 2.
Justin Bieber debuted on the list at an impressive No. 3. The teen pop star only made $54 million, but ranked high in online visibility (500 million YouTube views of his "Baby" music video alone) and social media following. Check out photos of the top 10 below:
Rounding out the top 10 were popular bands with high-grossing tours, including U2 (No. 4) and Bon Jovi (No. 8). Two sports superstars also made the top 10. Despite keeping a low profile after a scandal-filled year, Tiger Woods still managed to come in at No. 6. Lebron James cracked the top 10 at No. 10.
Newcomers on the list include pop star Katy Perry (No. 12), reality-TV star/entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel (No. 42), and Oscar winner Natalie Portman (No. 75). One person who didn't make the list? Britney Spears. She'll surely return next year from the success of her "Femme Fatale" album and upcoming tour.
