Katy Perry takes on high fashion for the July issue of Vogue Italia!
While the California girl is known for her whimsical style, it looks like Katy channeled Lady Gaga for the stylish shoot.
Decked out in futuristic fashions, Katy looks almost unrecognizable wearing thick cat eye makeup, bold lashes, a pale lip and short blonde wigs for the spread.
In the issue, which hit stands this month, Katy opens up about the many facets of her personal style. From downright dirty in army garb for her music video "Part of Me," to a red carpet glamour girl at the premiere of "Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D" the movie, the singer prides herself on expressing the many different sides of her character.
"I am not afraid to show the real me, the de-glamorized version, because I am not always the Katy Perry who is a bit cartoon-like that everyone relates to. That's me on stage. But I like to show the entire spectrum of my personality".
Katy defines her personal style as "electric" but the singer confesses to the mag that what she wears really comes down to how she feels when she wakes up.
