Matthew Perry just sold his Hollywood Hills home, but not at a $4 million loss like other outlets are reporting. In fact, he sold it for a modest profit!
The Daily Mail incorrectly reported that the former "Friends" actor purchased the Carman Crest Drive property in 2011 for $8.5 million. toofab did the research and learned he *did* buy a house for that amount -- but it's located five miles away from Carman Crest on Hopen Place.
Matthew bought the Carman Crest property back in 2008 for $4.475 million, and it just sold for $4.685 million, a $200,000 profit. The $8.5 million Hopen Place house, which you can see here, isn't on the market, and to our knowledge, Matthew still resides in it.
That's not to say the Carman Crest house isn't stunning. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, it has million dollar views of Hollywood. And if the residents ever get tired of the view, there's the home movie theater. Check out all the photos above by clicking the "Launch Gallery" button.
If there's one thing in common with Matthew's homes, they're impeccable. We die for his clean, ultra-modern aesthetic. If he ever wants to "Go On" from him homes, we're happy to house-sit them until they're sold!
