Kristen Bell just made a young girl's day with one voicemail.
Young Avery Huffman was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor earlier this year. Her parents, Brandon and Amanda, have been chronicling her fight via a journal on CaringBridge.
Earlier this week, Brandon posted an entry about a particularly tough day of radiation treatment -- one that took a 180 degree turn after a phone call from one of Avery's favorite people.
"Like roughly 93% of all little girls in the United States, Avery loved the movie Frozen," Brandon shares on the website. "Avery's favorite character in the movie is Anna, who was voiced by Kristen Bell."
Thanks to a friend who had a connection to the "Veronica Mars" star, Bell was able to send Avery a message ... in Anna's voice.
In the voicemail, which you can hear above, Bell sends a personalized message to the young girl, who is clearly excited to hear Anna's voice.
"Avery, my sister Elsa says she's heard that you've been such a good girl and you've been so brave, she has decided to crown you as an honorary princes of Arendelle," Kristen says. "That's so exciting. I think you'll make a great princess."
We do too.
"Avery couldn't stop talking about it and was so excited to have her sisters and brother hear it," Brandon says of the call. "Despite being incredibly busy, Kristen Bell took the time to make a little 6-year old girl's day."
"I'll admit, I've watched the video of her hearing from Anna/Kristen Bell, around 50 times, just to watch her face light up, and to hear her giggle and see her smile," he added in a later post.
"Seeing it go viral and so many people sharing the same emotions I have when I watch it, I'm constantly reminded that while Avery is going through the worst possible fight anyone should have to, she's touching so many people's hearts and her fight and toughness is reaching so many people."
