Adrienne Bailon On Parenting Stepchildren: I'm The Good Cop!

In a sneak peek of Wednesday's "The Real," Bailon discusses her role as a stepmom to her fiancé's children from his previous relationship. Check out the clip above to see what Houghton's four children call Adrienne!

While we agree with Bailon that calling someone "stepmom" could sound a little awkward, it's interesting that she doesn't feel comfortable punishing Israel's children when they act out.

"I have a question for you -- 'cause she said she would be fine with just you disciplining the kids -- would you feel comfortable if she disciplined them? Because I think she… she's pretty freaking amazing, she'll know how to do it?" Adrienne's costar, Tamera Mowry-Housley, asks Israel in the clip.

"I mean, what kind… what kind of discipline are you going to give a thirteen and a fifteen-year-old right now?" he asks Housley.

"I'm not spanking her. Like what?" the former Disney star jokes. "Are you going to be like, 'Go to your room.' Or 'You're Grounded.' Or something like that?" Israel asks his fiancée.

Clearly, the 32-year-old isn't comfortable with the idea of punishing Houghton's children ... and Israel seems to share her sentiments.

"No, I'm not doing that. We are going to be good cop, bad cop and I am the good one, okay!" Bailon exclaims.

"She's going to be the good cop," Israel affirms, while giving his wife-to-be a thumbs up.

The cute couple -- who got engaged while in Paris under the Eiffel Tower back in August -- recently celebrated their co-ed wedding shower at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood.

"I always knew if I did a bridal shower I knew I needed it to be co-ed. I can't imagine celebrating my engagement without my fiancé," Bailon told PEOPLE.

While the "Real" star is loving every minute of her engagement, she can't wait to finally say "I do" later this year.

"I'm so excited," she told the site. "I can't wait to marry my best friend."
