The 38-year-old singer announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday morning, posting a pair of photos showing daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 5, taking part of the gender reveal. She also shared an image of her baby bump.

In the second photo, the bigger balloons were popped to reveal a bunch of tiny pink ones -- it's a girl!
"This little baby girl will make us a family of five," Simpson captioned the photo. "We couldn't be happier to announce this precious blessing of life."

Earlier this year, Simpson admitted that she had "baby fever" and that she and her hubby "always practice."
In 2017, however, she told Ellen DeGeneres that she got an IUD and "nothin's gonna get in that uterus."
"I have two beautiful children, and I'm not having a third," she said at the time. "They're too cute … you can't top that."
