Vanessa Hudgens is making a 525,600 degree change from playing an innocent teen in "High School Musical" to portraying drug addicted, HIV positive stripper "Mimi" in a Hollywood Bowl production of the Broadway hit "Rent."
"How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris will direct the three-night stint and says, "I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August."
The Disney diva has left the building.
