Zac Efron flashes his pretty mug for the September issue of Details magazine -- and though he was covered in poison oak for the interview, you can't tell from the inside shots!
The "High School Musical" star opens up about his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens in the mag, saying, "Why am I not out there playing the field?' One of my buddies was like,'You have no idea what's going on right now. ' ... But it's not in my heart ... It's real."
FYI -- Efron reportedly bolted from the Teen Choice Awards last night so he could catch Hudgens in "Rent."
