Hayden Panettiere had transformed into a real-life convicted killer.
The "Scream 4" star covered her cute, pixie cut up with a wig while shooting Lifetime movie "The Amanda Knox Story" yesterday in Rome -- in which she plays the title role.
Knox was found guilty of murdering her roommate in 2007 while studying abroad in Perugia, Italy and is currently serving a 26 year sentence.
