Today marks the one-year anniversary of socialite Casey Johnson's death, and her former partner, Courtenay Semel, tells TooFab that she still misses the late Johnson & Johnson heiress terribly, and that today, in particular, she's in her thoughts.

"Her being gone has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and wish she was here. Johnson, who passed away at the age of 30, died of natural causes, the Los Angeles coroner ruled last February.The specific cause of death was "diabetic ketoacidosis," a condition caused by a shortage of insulin, according to the coroner.
