The big question for the new season of "American Idol" isn't how Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez will be as judges -- but who'll have the better clothes?
In new, behind-the-scenes video from the promo photo shoot, the Aerosmith frontman says the hardest part about getting ready was "spending at least 4 days going through my closet to make sure I've outdressed J.Lo. She's gonna always outshine me ... or try to!"
He definitely held his own, posing with Jenny, Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson for the shoot -- where Seacrest promised the crew would "be more playful this year" and the show would have "a different tone to it."
