Two of Princess Diana's gowns are about to hit the auction block, one week after the Royal Wedding of her son, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
Julien's auction house is currently holding a "Hollywood Legends Auction," and two of Diana's dresses designed by Catherine Walker are up for bidding.
The first is a strapless blue silk chiffon dress and matching stole that she wore to Cannes Film Festival in May 1987, the second a black crepe evening gown specifically designed for Diana's state visit to India in 1992, when she was still married to Prince Charles.
Both items are expected to fetch anywhere between $40,000-$60,000.
The auction starts May 7th.
