A four-minute trailer for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" just dropped online -- giving us a much longer look at the thriller from David Ficher.
The new preview gives those who haven't read the books or seen the Swedish films a better understanding of what the film is about, plus better shots of Rooney Mara's crazy transformation into Lisbeth Salander.
The flick, which also stars Daniel Craig, Robin Wright and Christopher Plummer, opens December 21, 2011.
