The "Field of Dreams" made famous in the 1989 Kevin Costner film has a new owner!
Don and Becky Lansing listed 193 acre Dyersville, Iowa property in 2010 -- asking $5.4 million! Hey, that's not a lot to ask for a piece of movie history.
The property includes the two bathroom, one-and-a-half bath house featured in the film -- along with seven barns, a two-car garage, lots of corn, the "Field of Dreams" website ... and tee-shirt deal with Universal Studios.
"Go the Distance Baseball" purchased the property for an undisclosed amount -- promising to preserve the site by turning it into a baseball and softball complex.
Universal Studios built the compound in 1988 -- and since then, roughly 65-thousand people a year have ventured to the site.
Remember ... It's not heaven, it's Iowa.
