"The Avengers" is one of the anticipated films of 2012, and we have another peek at the star-studded cast today.
Marvel just issued two character banners of the film's superheroes (and villain).
In one, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), David Banner aka The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and Captain America (Chris Evans) prepare for battle.
The second depicts Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) -- Thor's treacherous brother and the film's villain.
"The Avengers" opens in May 2012.
