Bethenny Frankel got emotional this morning on "Today" -- opening up about a recent miscarriage for the first time.
"We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks, I miscarried," Frankel revealed earlier today ... after being asked if she and husband Jason Hoppy would ever have a second child.
Calling it a "very emotional experience," the "Bethenny Ever After" star says the miscarriage made her realize how lucky she already is.
" Thinking about women that can't have their own baby, even a first baby. I'm really lucky," she said.
"I have the most beautiful daughter in the world and I'm grateful for her" Bethenny added, referring to 21-month-old daughter Brynn.
So ... will they still try for another?
"I'm 41, and I don't know. It's not really my choice. It's not really my option. The window's closing."
