Kate Middleton is playing the field ... field hockey, that is!
The Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise visit to Olympic Park in London, where she joined the British Olympic women's team.
After some encouragement from the players and press, the Duchess grabbed a stick and took the field.
"This is going to be so embarrassing," Kate said. "My brain thinks I can do all these wonderful things but my body just doesn't play ball."
Of course, Kate, who captained her high school hockey team, was just being humble; she took a swing and scored a goal with ease.
London is the site of this year's Summer Olympics. As an Olympic ambassador, the Duchess will definitely be in attendance at many events.
Kate's not the only member of the royal family getting her fitness on. Earlier this week, her brother-in-law Prince Harry was seen playing beach volleyball and rugby in Brazil.
