The world premiere of "The Avengers" went down last night in Hollywood -- and it was one superhero-packed event!
Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye all hit the red carpet at the El Capitan for the first showing of the highly-anticipated comic book movie -- which sees Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner fighting alongside each other for the first time.
Also spotted at the wild event from the movie: Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston, director Joss Whedon, executive producer Jon Favreau, Clark Gregg (and wife Jennifer Grey) and Stellan Skarsgard (with hot son Alexander Skarsgard of "True Blood").
The premiere was an early one, considering the movie doesn't open until May 4 -- but it's never too early to start generating some huge buzz.
