Hot off "The Avengers," Jeremy Renner is back to kicking butt -- this time in the full trailer for "The Bourne Legacy."
While Matt Damon and his Jason Bourne character aren't in the flick, it's now pretty clear his actions in the previous films definitely tie into this sequel.
"Jason Bourne was just the tip of the iceberg," series newcomer Edward Norton warns in the clip.
The story this time follows another genetically-altered super-agent, Renner's Aaron Cross, as he also goes on the run from his creators.
The movie looks action-packed, with some crazy stunt work and a wild motorcycle chase.
Rachel Weisz, Joan Allen and David Strathairn costar in the film, which opens August 3.
