The singer shared a surprising new photo of herself today on Twitter, showing her in costume as June Carter Cash for an upcoming Lifetime biopic.
Sporting a long dark-haired wig, blue contact lenses and prosthetic teeth, Jewel absolutely transformed herself for the role ... and still looks pretty great!
Today was the first day of shooting for Jewel, who has been nervously tweeting about the movie over the past month.
"Such an undertaking. Oh Lordy! I pray I do her justice. What a special woman," she said in May.
