Today is a big day for Robin Roberts.
The "Good Morning America" anchor is scheduled to undergo a bone marrow transplant this morning as part of her MDS treatment -- but before the procedure, she shared a video message with her fans.
"This journey is as much about the mind as it is the body,” she said in a video aired on "GMA. "Your thoughts. Thoughts are so powerful. You've got to change the way you think in order to change the way you feel. And let me just say this lastly, I feel the love and I thank you for it. Thank you.”
Roberts has been in the hospital for 11 days and has already completed eight days of "intense" chemotherapy.
Robin received her bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally Ann. She previously said she hopes to return to the morning show as soon as possible, but has not put a timetable on her recovery.
