PEOPLE Magazine just named their Sexiest Man Alive for 2012 ... and, once again, it's not Ryan Gosling.
But this time around, we're gonna have to agree with the magazine a little more than we did when they picked Bradley Cooper, because this guy has had a stellar year.
And the winner is ... Channing Tatum!
That's right, "Magic Mike" himself is the hottest out there thanks to his killer physique and box office success in the last year.
Not only was his stripper movie a winner, but he also scored home runs with "21 Jump Street" and "The Vow" -- and it's rumored "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" was pushed back to give him more screen time.
"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" says Tatum about the honor.
And what does his wife think?
"People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is," says Jenna Dewan-Tatum. "He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."
