He may be best known for playing one of the biggest badasses in recent film, but in real life, Hugh Jackman is more of a softy than a "Wolverine."
The Aussie actor -- who will next be seen in theaters as Jean Valjean in newest film remake of "Les Miserables," opening Christmas Day -- sat down with "60 Minutes" correspondent Scott Pelley in an interview that aired on Sunday.
The pair discussed Jackman's career triumphs and sad family history, which saw Hugh's mother desert her husband and five children when Hugh was merely 8 years old.
The 44-year-old still recalls the day vividly, and was brought to tears when discussing his father, Christopher, who he describes as his "rock."
