"Titanic" first hit theaters 15 years ago today!
Yes, that means a decade and a half has passed since tweens everywhere were flocking to the movies to see the tragic tale two three four times each.
Released on December 19, 1997, the flick also catapulted the careers of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who would garner an Oscar nomination for the role of Rose DeWitt Bukater.
The film would also win Best Picture and Best Original Song, with Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" becoming one of the most successful (and overplayed!) tunes of all time.
