Kirstie Alley turns 62 today!
Most know the actress from her stints on "Dancing With the Stars" and "Cheers," but did you know her very first feature film role was in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"?
Kirstie played Lt. Saavik in the hit 1982 sci-fi film. She reportedly enjoyed playing the role so much she took her Vulcan ears home each day. Unfortunately, the role was recast in the 1984 sequel "The Search for Spock," but Kirstie will remain among a select group of actors who guest-starred in "Star Trek."
