2015 is going to be a HUGE year for movies -- and now another big franchise is entering the already blockbuster-packed schedule.
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" was just announced by Disney on Monday afternoon, hitting theaters July 10, 2015.
Johnny Depp is confirmed to return as Captain Jack Sparrow yet, but no word yet if Penelope Cruz or Sam Claflin (who appeared in the last outing, "Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides") will return as well.
Other movies expected in 2015 include "The Avengers 2," "Star Wars: Episode VII," "Justice League," a "Fantastic Four" reboot, a possible sequel to "Avatar" and the conclusion of the "Hunger Games" movies with "Mockingjay Part 2." What a year, right?
The Mouse House also announced release dates for a few other hotly-anticipated flicks. "The Muppets 2" will drop in theaters March 21, 2014 and "Maleficent" starring Angelina Jolie was moved from March 14, 2014 to July 2, 2014.
