"Iron Man" fans can get closer to Tony Stark's armor than ever before ... and even inside it!
toofab was invited to a sneak peek of the brand new "Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries" exhibit at Disneyland's Innoventions building in Anaheim, California on Friday where we got the lowdown on the park's newest attraction.
"I love the whole idea of Iron Man coming to Innoventions," Disney Imagineer Jay Dreves tells toofab. "We were on a really tight timetable with a great team, it was a monumental effort."
So what exactly did their hard work amount to? Well, one pretty impressive spectacle.
The exhibit contains an exact replica of Tony Stark's Hall of Armor from "Iron Man 3" -- with 7 suits used in the previous films and the top-of-the-line Mark 42, which he dons in the new flick.
Not only are fans able to get within arms reach of the suits, they're even allowed inside one of them.
Through really cool "augmented reality technology," we were able to "suit up" in the brand new Mark 42. The virtual experience works much like the Kinect, with the pieces of armor flying onto your body (or at least onto your body on a screen in front of you) before you're able to fly around, embarrassingly dance and shoot targets.

"Being able to see all the suits in one place, to see the Mark 42 and have it featured in the game is really awesome," an excited Dreaves adds. " I just hope that the guests will have the same response to it and get to experience it."
We can easily see the line for this one getting long!
With "Iron Man 3" kicking off Phase 2 of Marvel's cinematic journey, we had to ask if we'll see any of the other Avengers popping up at Disneyland anytime soon.
"Right now I'm only developing this exhibit but we're always excited about new stuff coming around the corner," Deaves tells toodab. "We always look forward to working with all of our properties that are out there. That's all I know!"
Hmmm ... so, you're saying there's a chance.
We won't hold our breath for now, but if this exhibit is a sign of things to come, it could certainly be both exciting and interactive.
