The CMT Music Awards go live tonight at 8/7c -- and to celebrate one of the biggest award shows in country music, we wanted to take a look back at some of the biggest fashion fails over the years!
While singers like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift usually bring their style A-game to the award show, other stars have missed the mark ... multiple times.
Last year, Jennie Garth looked great .. except for that olive green hot mess of a dress she was sporting. The shiny texture and draping just made the whole outfit look tacky, rather than classy.
In 2011, Nicole Kidman disappointed in this dated velvet-sheer frock -- nothing about this look made sense, or flattered Mrs. Keith Urban's figure.
And in 2010, Hayden Penettiere looked like she just stepped off a street corner, rather than onto a red carpet, in her teal and black lace ensemble. Really, some blue eyeshadow would have perfected this '80s outfit.
