The cast of "Glee" is still in mourning.
Last night, Cory Monteith's costar Darren Criss had the unpleasant task of promoting his new movie while grieving the loss of his friend, who died unexpectedly over the weekend.
The 26-year-old actor showed up to the premiere of "Girl Most Likely" on Monday night sporting a black ribbon in honor of Monteith.
While he smiled with costars Kristen Wiig and Matt Dillon on the carpet, Criss pulled out of two additional promo events for the movie today.
He was reportedly scheduled to appear on both "Good Morning America" and "Live! With Kelly and Michael," but canceled at the last minute.
Naya Rivera also released a statement about Cory's passing, telling The Hollywood Reporter:
"The entire Glee family and I are deeply saddened by this tragedy.Cory was and always will be a part of my own family and a good friend. He was a special part of this world and will forever be missed. My heart goes out to Cory's family and Lea and while we are grateful for everyone's well wishes, privacy during this time of grief is greatly appreciated."
Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on Saturday. He was 31.
