Ashley Benson has bad timing.
On Wednesday, the "Spring Breakers" star posted a picture on Instagram of her impersonating Amanda Bynes. While Benson's pose is pretty spot on ... her timing is not so great.
The 23-year-old wrote, "Doing my Amanda bynes [SIC] look this afternoon," along with the photo.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Amanda was taken into custody on a 5150 hold for setting a small fire on a residents driveway in Thousand Oaks, California. When police arrived to the scene, it was determined that Bynes needed to be hospitalized.
In the last year, Amanda's showed signs of instability -- from calling fellow stars "ugly" over Twitter, to threatening to sue various media outlets, to numerous admissions of plastic surgery, and even a hip-hop career in the works -- her actions have led the public, the media and now her parents (who are seeking a temporary conservatorship) to worry about Bynes' mental health and general well-being.
After some backlash from fans, Ashley tweeted "To clear up the whole Instagram thing, I had no idea what her situation was. Truly sorry if I offended anyone."
