Yep, that is Val Kilmer completely decked out as the legendary American writer, Mark Twain!
On Wednesday, the actor shared a bunch of hilarious pictures via Twitter showing fans the different layers of prosthetics, makeup and wigs Kilmer wears for the stage show.
The 53-year-old's currently portraying the writer in the one-man play, "Citizen Twain." Not only does Val look a lot like the late author, he's got one awesome sense of humor (much like Twain himself!).
In one "Citizen Twain" "selfie," Kilmer posted "Good Twain selfie. It's a Soul Twain, the name of my new album," and in another shot of him in costume he wrote, "I'm on my way to my 4th grade oral book report on George Washington..."
