#Archies, he's baaaaack!
"American Idol" season seven runner-up David Archuleta has just announced his return from a two-year Mormon mission in South America via a very cute and humble ten-second YouTube video.
"Hola everyone, it's Elder Archuleta here. I'm home! I'm home," the "Crush" singer said ecstatically, while dressed in a suit jacket, white dress shirt and tie.
In March 2012, the Utah native put his singing career on hold and took up a life of strict rules and proselytizing in the name of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Missionaries are also only allowed to call their families twice a year during their vocation, which David did in Chile.
And Archuleta did make good use of his voice while doing his mission, singing Spanish carols at the Santiago Chile Temple Christmas concert.
Check out his short message above. Are you glad to have him back?
