Hugh Jackman has a bald new 'do!
The actor shaved his head for his role as Blackbeard in the upcoming film, "Pan," which is a reimagining of the classic story "Peter Pan" from the pirate's perspective.
In Joe Wright's adaptation of the classic tale, an orphaned Peter Pan is swept away to Neverland, where he leads the natives in a rebellion against the nefarious Blackbeard's band of pirates.
"Blackbeard is born. #PAN," the 45-year-old star wrote on Instagram, along with a snapshot of his newly-buzzed head.
This is quite a difference for Jackman, who usually sports a full head of hair and a bushier beard.
We don't love Hugh's new look, but we can't wait to see the movie, which also stars Amanda Seyfried, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and Garrett Hedlund as Hook.
