Lauren Conrad traded in her golden locks for a platinum hue, posting a snapshot of her newly-dyed tresses on Instagram Wednesday.
"Things are getting real blonde around here..." the former "Hills" star captioned the sweet selfie.

The 28-year-old beauty took to Twitter on Monday to call out Allure magazine after the publication described her as "basic" in a recent feature titled "Beauty and a Beat."
"I definitely just got called a basic b*tch! Haha! Sausage curls!? Really @Allure_magazine?" she posted on her social media page, tweeting a pic of the offensive article.
To make matters worse, the Paper Crown designer has covered Allure magazine on three different occasions, most recently gracing the April issue.
LC is anything but basic!
