"Saturday Night Live" kicked off its 40th season last night with everyone's favorite actor at the moment: Chris Pratt.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star was game for everything, from dressed in ridiculous costumes to breaking out his impressive rap skills. Even when the show didn't give him the best material, Pratt proved he was up for anything they threw at him and was quite the fun host.
The weirdest sketch he was a part of found him dressing up as He-Man, after a kids' toys came to life. Taran Killam joined him as Lion-O from "Thundercats," as the two learned how to sexually stimulate each other for the first time. It was a bizarre skit, but one that allowed Pratt to show off his impressive physique -- he really looked the part!
Another sketch, called "Booty Rap" found Pratt and the always hilarious Aidy Bryant flirting with each other at a bar ... and using rap music to express their true feelings. Bryant spoofed Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" while singing about her "Big fat ass," while Pratt rapped about wanting to "plow through your panties like you're running on diesel."
The other high point from Pratt came right at the show's beginning, as he busted out a guitar and sang a song about hosting the show during his monologue. With his adorably goofy performance and a cameo from his real-life wife Anna Faris, it was a really cute moment.
And then there was Pete Davidson's debut.
In what was probably the biggest scene-stealing moment of the night, the new addition to the cast popped up on "Weekend Update" as the "Show's Resident Young Person." The 20-year-old (!) went into a standup routine about how much money he'd orally pleasure another man for. It was raunchy, but totally hilarious -- and immediately made Davidson the one to watch this year.
