"Magic Mike" and his muscles are back!
Channing Tatum showed off his ripped physique on the beach in Georgia this week, where the actor is currently filming "Magic Mike XXL," the sequel to his male stripper flick from 2013. Sporting a pair of extremely low-riding shorts, the 34-year-old proved he definitely got his bod back after putting on some weight between films.
Back in May, Channing admitted he was anywhere from 25-30 pounds over his ideal weight of 180 pounds in an interview with GQ. Calling himself "fat and happy," Tatum went on and on about his love of delicious desserts.
"I just love cake," he told the mag. "Confetti cake, to be specific. It has little colored candies inside the cake, and then you get the confetti icing, which is really hard to find sometimes. It's not icing with sprinkles on top. It's icing that actually has candies inside of it. It's Funfetti icing."
Clearly he's been cutting back on the cake these days -- because that's one very lean stomach right there!
Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer will join Channing in the sequel, along with newcomers like Michael Strahan, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
