Most women don't choose to go gray!
"Girls" star Zosia Mamet showed off her new hue on the red carpet Sunday night, showing up to the NY premiere of "A Most Violent Year" looking like that.
The naturally brunette actress recently went platinum blonde, but apparently she was ready for yet another change.
"It was just for fun," she told Cosmopolitan at the event. "I've had, like, very long, brown virgin hair, as they call it, my whole life, and I was just bored; I wanted to do something different."
"I wanted to go all the colors I'd always envied on women on the subway. You know? Like, I would look at these girls, and be, like, 'Oh my god, she has violet hair! It's so cool!' And I was just, like, 'I'm going to do it. I'm going to be that girl!'
