"Do you bleed? You will."
Ben Affleck's Batman makes quite the threat to the Man of Steel in the just-released trailer for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" ... hitting the Internet almost a full day after it already leaked online.
It's pretty clear that the people of Metropolis aren't thrilled with all the destruction Supes caused in his last outing, as we hear voiceovers of opposing sides arguing over what to do with him.
"Devils don't come from hell beneath us ...", "No, they come from the sky," two people are heard saying to each other ... the latter being Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor.
"The world has been so caught up in what he could do that nobody has asked what he should do," ponders Holly Hunter's unmistakable voice.
We then see a statue of Superman with the words "False God" sprawled on it. This image is VERY Zack Snyder, evoking the blood-spatter writing of the director's "300."
The trailer is packed with shots of a greying Affleck both in and out of costume, the Batmobile and a face-off between the two title characters. Sorry, no shot of Wonder Woman, Aquaman or Lex just yet.
What do you think of the official trailer? Does it compete with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"?
