Wow, what a makeover!
"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans hit the red carpet at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, looking like a very different person than the one we saw in her latest mugshot earlier this month.
Sporting some perfect hair and makeup, the 23-year-old reality TV star looked great in a sparkly mini with sheer sleeves and grommeted heels as she posed with her date for the evening, her mother Barbara.
While Evans has had her share of red carpet appearances, Babs looked more glam than we've ever seen her at the event, wearing a cute black and electric blue dress with a black blazer.
"I'm really excited for [fans] to see that side of me," Jenelle told us about her red carpet look before attending the show. "I'm really exciting to be attending and to meet different people and network, I'm very happy. My mom got invited, that'll be crazy for her all glammed up too!"
"We looked for about a month," Evans also said about her dress, adding that she decided on which one to wear to the ceremony at the last minute.
We also talked to the reality star about how her relationship with her mother has changed -- especially after her split from Nathan Griffith, who her mom never really approved of.
"She's tried giving me advice and I learn from my mistakes, obviously. Once she let go and everything happened, she was like, 'I'm not gonna sit here and say I told you so, but I'm just gonna say I'm happy you're not with him anymore,'" she told us.
"Currently we're still going through the custody thing, working something out" she added.
Jenelle's mom currently has custody of her 6-year-old son, Jace.
