Mischa Barton is back in the spotlight!
The "O.C." star stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance on Wednesday night at the AMBI Gala at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
Sporting a backless red gown with a voluminous 'do, the actress stole the spotlight at the star-studded soiree. She completed her elegant ensemble with an ear cuff chain, a red and gold clutch and a killer red lip.
In an interview with ET Canada, the former child star revealed that there are no plans for a reunion of "The O.C."
When the reporter asked about a potential remake of the show, Mischa responded with a laugh and jokingly replied: “Well there is also like an O.C.: The Musical going on out there somewhere.”
All jokes aside, Barton admitted that she wouldn't be interested in reprising her infamous role.
“No. I mean I just doubt very much,” she told the outlet. “I just think that those characters they had a life of their own and they burned out a little bit very fast because they were just fascinating characters. And you can't… every time you try to replicate something it doesn't really happen. And you know, after The O.C. there was a slew of other things like it but like more yeah, more salacious even. So I feel like you can't… There's nowhere to go with it.”
