Oh, Candace Cameron Bure .... here we go again!
During a conversation about Lena Dunham saying she was the victim of "verbal violence" on Twitter after posting an underwear selfie online, the "Full House" alum spoke out about her own experience with online trolls.
While some of the abuse directed at her definitely crosses a line, Bure's choice of words explaining the harassment has everybody talking.
"I've never been more verbally abused in my life than on Twitter, and specifically in the last few months, having come on this show," said the conservative Bure. "A lot of people don't agree with me. That's fine, don't agree with me. But you don't have to verbally abuse me and rape me. That's what they do to me on Twitter."
Yeah ... she just compared a mean tweet to rape.
Shockingly, nobody else on the panel called her on it, as Whoopi Goldberg went on to suggest the "Girls" star brought some of the negative comments on herself.
"If you set yourself up, you know, don't go on showing your body," Goldberg added. "She knows every time she shows her body, people leap all over her. Maybe it's kind of fun, maybe it's not fun anymore for her."
We have a feeling they'll be addressing this sometime this week -- what do you think of Bure's statement? Sound off below!
