Gwen Stefani gets put in the hot seat about her relationship with Blake Shelton on today's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
The talk show host tiptoes around the subject by asking about "The Voice" before she gets to the juicy questions.
"I'm having a lot of fun. It's like a whole new life, a whole new chapter," the No Doubt singer explains. "It's been so great to be on 'The Voice' and to be around all that music."
That's when the conversation turns to the country crooner. "I love watching the show, and I love watching you and how fun you are on the show and how you seem to have gotten more and more relaxed as the season went on and more playful as the season goes on," DeGeneres says.
Ellen tells her guest that she's "just trying to dance around the subject" before asking, "But you're happy and you're having fun?"
"I'm having lots of fun, yeah," Stefani replies, as a photo pops up of her sitting on Blake's lap.
"I don't know where that came from," DeGeneres jokes. "Ride 'em cowboy," Gwen retorts.
Stefani goes on to gush about her new boyfriend, revealing one very surprising confession. "I did not know this about him because I didn't even know who he was before I was on the show. Before I was on 'The Voice,' I never heard of him before. I didn't. I hadn't. I'm an O.C. girl. Like, what would I know?" she admits. "But he knows every single '80s song. He literally is a musical jukebox. He knows everything about music it's crazy."
This is when Ellen really goes in for some details!
"And he's a good kisser, or no?" she asks. Check out the clip to see what Gwen says.
On a more serious note, the mother-of-thee also talks about her recent split from husband Gavin Rossdale.
She explains that her music has brought her comfort. "It validates me as a person. That's my whole thing," she says. "Like, if I can write a song, then I just feel like, 'Yes!'"
