Now this is one good-looking family!
Jennifer Hudson and beau David Otunga attended the opening night after-party for Hudson's big debut on Broadway's "The Color Purple" in New York City on Thursday.
Hudson looked gorgeous wearing a fuchsia strapless gown. She completed her look with silver strappy sandals and a bold red lip.
David looked dapper too, wearing a metallic blue jacket, black button down and black slacks. The couple's son David Daniel Otunga Jr. and nephew Trae matched Otunga for the special night out. The group posed for a few photos together before heading into the celebrations, the boys helping J-Hud show off her gorgeous dress.
It sounds like all of the "American Idol" alum's hard work has paid off -- the cast's performance was likewise met with a standing ovation at the end of the show.
"The pace of it is so quick!" Hudson told Variety about her new gig. "The first night of previews, by the end of the first act I was just like, 'Whoa, y'all, I think I'm in shock.' I felt like I just hopped in some oncoming traffic."
